A family physician who is an advocate of many great causes, Dr. Tom Maibenco finds his purpose in helping his community as he is a proud member of the Wounded Warrior Project. As part of this organization, Dr. Maibenco—alongside the other members of WWP—endeavors to raise $500,000 for its Long-Term Support Trust, at the same time growing the membership to 100,000 in the next two years. As a physician who has spent thousands of hours in family medicine and emergency care experience, he dedicates his expertise to helping veterans who have experienced physical or mental injuries after 9/11.
Dr. Maibenco has been an avid supporter of the police, donating through the Fraternal Order of Police Program, as an associate member of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police. The organization provides educational, legislative, and community support through an array of programs and initiatives in local communities around the world, on behalf of its law enforcement members.
During his free time, he enjoys going outdoor and fishing. Dr. Tom Maibenco also loves animals and advocates their welfare.
